The workshop entitled “Research and innovation – Institutional transformation and sustainability of institutions in the higher education system” successfully was hosted by the University of Agribusiness and Rural Development (UARD). The workshop took place on 20 and 21 August 2022 in Velingrad, Bulgaria bringing together the Rector of UARD and project coordinator Prof. Dr. Mariana Ivanova and University teachers.
It was a valuable opportunity to talk about the European University Alliance. In particular, Prof. Dr. Ivanova gave a rich and thoughtful presentation on the European University Alliance INVEST and the INVEST4EXCELLENCE project. The modern digitization processes in higher education institutions along with the innovative tools and solutions in the Alliance were other core components of the workshop.
Lastly, the participants underscored the fundamental role UARD played in the current challenges to e-learning while also discussing the virtual campus of the European University INVEST.
