University of Agribusiness and Rural Development
The University of Agribusiness and Rural Development was established 27 years ago as an independent college for higher education offering programmes in the field of Agrarian sciences. In 2011 it underwent transformation to become a university profiled in the field of Agribusiness and rural development, offering higher education qualifications at EQF levels 6, 7 and 8. The University is accredited until 2023 and currently houses over 4000 students in its three campuses in Plovdiv (the main campus), Veliko Tarnovo and Ruse. In recent years it attracts many students who need to study while working through the online study opportunities it offers. UARD is offering study courses in English and Russian and its international pool of students has grown to one of the largest in the region.

Karelia University of Applied Sciences
